Nitron CA

A very high performance coating based on the Chromium Aluminum Nitride system with a very distinctive pale blue/silver apperance.

Nitron-CA has exceptional oxidation resistance and hot hardness which makes it suitable of the most demanding cutting and forming tools.

In particular, Nitron-CA offers outstanding performance for gear cutting, milling and turning operations.

Typical Properties:

Coating Thickness: 1-4µm
Hardness: 3000Hv
Process Temperature: 350 - 450 ° C
Max Operating Temp 1050 ° C
