The TECVAC range of ion implanters utilise a simple and reliable ion source design which was developed sepcizally for the implantation of gasseous ions into engineering materials.

With ion energies in the range of 80 to 100 KeV and a large beam footprint, the '22 Series' implanters are cost effective and highly versatile systems for carrying out this advanced surface modification on an industrial scale.

All systems are fitted with fully automated process controls, data logging and diagnostics.

The machines can be fitted with a wide range of manipluation devices to enable the treatment of complex components.

Multiple ion source can be fitted to reduce the process times or to improve the system capacity with complex geometries.

The Tecvac ion implanter provides a beam 150mm square to give a standard dose to metal components of 3x1017 ions / cm2 /hr using a 92kV 3.5 mA source. It will provide ion implantation of nitrogen and ion-assisted deposition is an option.
