Vacuum Case Hardening?

WHT can now offer case hardening carried out in vacuum furnaces at low pressure. The advantages are:

1. Better control of the case depth and profile.
2. Less distortion of the components.
3. No subsurface oxidation, improving fatigue life and eliminating the need for grinding.
4. Excellent penetration of deep blind holes.

Please call us to discuss your requirements. Jobs will probably not just transfer from present technology to vacuum case hardening but should only need minor modifications.
