Vacuum Carburising at the Autosport Show

Wallwork Heat Treatment will be exhibiting on stand E170 at Autosport International at the NEC on 13/14 January. The latest processes gaining popularity in motorsport are on show, these include Vacuum Carburising & Plasma Nitriding.

Vacuum carburising gives excellent consistency with no intergranular oxydation and very good penetration into holes. Plasma nitriding offers a high quality low distortion method of providing a hard surface layer, which may be used together with Tecvac ultra hard coatings.
